January 14 2016, Chapel Hill, North Carolina: VIGILINT, a corporate medical advisory company, today announced the appointment of Sean Siler, DO, MBA, to Partner, President and Chief Medical Officer effective immediately. Siler will assume responsibility for the medical oversight of VIGILINT’s offerings and Corporate Medical Advisory Solutions. In addition, Siler will work closely with VIGILINT’s Chief Executive Officer, James Humphlett, to oversee the Company’s operating units.
“Dr. Siler brings a wealth of government, military and private sector medical expertise during an exciting time in our company’s growth,” said Humphlett. “The recruitment of Dr. Siler and his diverse medical leadership background is an important step in the evolution of VIGILINT.” Siler, a decorated Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, has lead conventional and special operations medical command positions across a burgeoning 24-year career with 4combat deployments. Prior to joining VIGILINT’s executive team, Siler held management roles in prominent biotech firms, lead medical governance for pharmaceutical and laboratory start-ups, advised private equity investors and provided corporations with medical consulting services.
