Larry Hicks

Founder and Managing Partner, Drake Partners

Larry Hicks is the founder and Managing Partner of Drake Partners, a medical device management and investing firm that assists companies from product concept through commercialization and exit strategy. Larry has more than three decades of experience in the medical device sector including leadership roles in sales for ACMI, a market leader in the Urology segment; and Karl Storz Endoscopy, where he oversaw all US Sales and Operations as well as acting as General Manager of Karl Storz Sports Medicine in the US. In the private equity sector, Larry’s leadership has resulted in the transformation of NeuroTherm from $10 million in revenue with 10 employees to a vertically-integrated $50 million company with offices in Boston, London, Amsterdam and Dusseldorf. Larry Hicks graduated from Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT, with a B.A. in History and English, and he currently serves on the Advisory Board of the College of Arts and Sciences.
