How It Works
TMAP Program: How It Works

Consultation
Members meet with a VIGILINT Provider to review their medical history and for prescription of the member’s Travel Medical Kit (TMK).
2.
Receive TMK
The TMK includes 34 prescription, non prescription, and first aid supplies and is shipped directly to the member.
3.
Travel
With their TMK packed, the member travels to their destination.
4.
Get Support Abroad
While traveling, in the event of illness or injury, contact VIGILINT’s 24/7 Medical Operations Center. Within 30 seconds of calling, members are connected with an emergency physician who will assess the patient’s situation and instruct the member on what medications to use from their TMK to treat the illness. If deemed necessary, the physician will refer the member for further care.
5.
Transportation(If Needed)
If symptoms worsen, Medical Operations would manage medical evacuation to patient’s hospital of choice in their home country.

Unlike outsourced call centers or generic telemedicine platforms, VIGILINT’s Medical Operations Center is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and operationally trained personnel. This ensures that every call, consult, and crisis is handled with both clinical authority and contextual awareness. Our teams don’t just respond they lead, advise, and act decisively.

Planning international travel comes with unique health considerations. VIGILINT’s travel medicine specialists provide comprehensive pre-travel consultations for individuals 18 years and older traveling overseas. Our licensed clinicians offer personalized recommendations for immunizations and expert guidance on preventing illness and disease while traveling. Consultations are performed at the VIGILINT Travel Clinic located in Morrisville, NC.
- Schedule your appointment 4–6 weeks before your trip
- Gather your medical records to include current medications and vaccine history
- Complete the electronic travel packet online and pay the $140 consultation fee
- Allow up to 1 hour for the visit
During our consultation at the VIGILINT Travel Clinic, our experts will review your itinerary, medical history, and current medications to tailor recommendations specific to your destination. We’ll discuss required and recommended vaccinations, as well as preventive medications to help safeguard your health while abroad. You will receive a hard copy record of any immunizations at the conclusion of your visit.
