Africa: Dead on the Road

Members of the South African Police place an unidentified baby killed at the Harding mortuary when a minibus taxi collided with a truck allegedly overtaking on a single barrier lane near Emgeni, some 260 kilometres from Durban, 17 February 2001. The accident resulted in 17 people being killed and the driver of the truck arrested on charges of culpable homicide.
